If 11-year-old Otis can’t find a new foster home, he’ll be forced to move out of town. When he asks his favorite teacher to be his foster mother and is denied, both his plan for his future and his heart shatters. A series of escalating outbursts follows until Otis stands, stone in hand, and threatens the person he cares about most in the world.
